Body (Candle)

A candle body summarizes where the period opened and where it closed. In the framework, that distance is useful because it shows the net territory price relocated across and retained through the close. A large directional body means the period ended meaningfully displaced from where it began.

The body does not tell you that one group 'won' in some permanent sense, and it should not be read alone. Its meaning depends on the candles around it, the amount of overlap, the wicks, and whether subsequent candles accept the relocated territory or immediately give it back.

A body is therefore evidence, not a signal by itself. Several substantial bodies stacking in one direction with limited overlap tell a very different story from one isolated large body surrounded by heavy friction. The sequence matters because persistence tells you whether relocation was maintained beyond a single period.
